The U.S. Virgin Islands is an organized unincorporated territory of the United States. However, the inhabitants do not possess the same rights as U.S. mainlanders. The territory is neglected by the U.S. and thus looks like a third world country. The infrastructure is devastated, the roads are dangerous to drive on, and the only hospital on the island of St. Croix is deplorable, and worse, the marginalized- the deaf, disabled, elderly, and are left without the proper care, and opportunities to live a decent life.
The church leaders likewise have forgotten the deaf, disabled and elderly population. The church has failed the mission of Christ to heal, empower and support the people in keeping the commandments of Christ, to love one another, and be a light to all nations. The islands have been ravished by hurricanes but more so by the neglect of its secular and religious leaders.
The cost of living is way too high, and the people are dependent heavily on the government for support instead of being independent laborers and exporters of essential products to sustain them. The leadership is corrupt and thus not functionally fit to help the people survive the current state of the world at large.
The only answer is a true revitalization of godly worship, an aligned church and servants who are willing to do the work to heal, and restore. Prayer is needed but action must also accompany the professed words of the saints. The church leaders have forgotten their commitment to God and have abandoned the office of priest and God's representative on earth. Heal the church, heal the community.
M.A.N.A.A. International, Inc. is here to answer the call of the local church and the church universal, to support church leaders, and community leaders alike in meeting the spiritual and physical needs of marginalized communities.
May God have mercy and heal the desolate lands U.S. Virgin Islands, the United States of America and the World.
